Frequently Asked Questions

What you need to know before attending your study appointment.

It depends on the test. If pupil dilation is required (as in a retinal exam), we recommend you come accompanied, as your vision will be blurred for a few hours.

Most individual tests take between 10 and 20 minutes. If a full battery of tests is required, the time may extend to an hour.

For corneal studies (such as Pentacam), it is vital to stop wearing contact lenses several days beforehand. Our team will tell you the exact time based on your type of lens.
